Editorial Responsibilities

This page describes the responsibilities of editors, reviewers, authors, and the editorial office in the IJAICET publication workflow.

Editor Responsibilities

  • Assess manuscripts fairly according to scope, quality, originality, ethics, and reviewer feedback.
  • Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and review materials.
  • Avoid handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists.
  • Request revisions, corrections, or additional information where required.
  • Protect the integrity of the scholarly record through corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions where necessary.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Accept review assignments only within their expertise and availability.
  • Declare conflicts of interest before reviewing.
  • Provide respectful, constructive, evidence-based review comments.
  • Keep manuscripts and review details confidential.
  • Do not use unpublished manuscript content for personal advantage.

Author Responsibilities

  • Submit original work that is not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
  • Provide accurate authorship, affiliation, funding, conflict-of-interest, and ethics information.
  • Respond to reviewer and editor comments honestly and completely.
  • Check final proofs, metadata, DOI, author details, and article files before publication where requested.

Editorial Office Responsibilities

The editorial office supports communication, submission screening, metadata checks, production coordination, certificate requests, DOI and publication processing, and public policy maintenance.
