Corrections, Expressions of Concern, and Retraction Policy

IJAICET maintains the scholarly record by correcting significant errors and addressing publication ethics concerns after publication. The journal may publish a correction, expression of concern, or retraction when required after editorial assessment.

Corrections

A correction may be published when an article contains an error that affects interpretation, metadata, author information, references, figures, tables, or other important details, but does not invalidate the overall findings. Corrections are linked to the original article wherever possible.

Expressions of Concern

An expression of concern may be issued when a serious concern has been raised and an investigation is ongoing, inconclusive, or delayed. This notice alerts readers without prematurely reaching a final decision.

Retractions

An article may be retracted when the editorial office determines that the publication contains unreliable findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, unethical research practice, manipulated peer review, undisclosed major conflicts of interest, or another serious breach of publication ethics.

Process

Concerns may be raised by readers, authors, reviewers, editors, institutions, or indexing bodies. The editorial office reviews the concern, may contact authors and institutions for clarification, and records the decision. Retraction or correction notices identify the article, explain the reason for the action, and remain publicly available.
