Editorial Workflow
This page summarizes the editorial and publication workflow followed by IJAICET from submission to online publication.
1. Submission Screening
The editorial office checks whether the manuscript is complete, within journal scope, readable, original, and compliant with submission requirements. Manuscripts may be returned to authors before review if required information or files are missing.
2. Editor Assignment
A suitable editor or editorial board member may be assigned based on the manuscript topic, subject expertise, availability, and absence of conflicts of interest.
3. Double-Blind Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to qualified reviewers under the journal's double-blind peer-review process. Reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors, and author identities are not disclosed to reviewers during review.
4. Editorial Decision
The editor considers reviewer reports, journal policies, technical quality, ethical issues, and manuscript suitability before issuing a decision. Possible decisions include revision, acceptance, rejection, or resubmission.
5. Revision and Verification
When revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript and a response to reviewer/editor comments. The revised version may be checked by the editor or returned to reviewers when needed.
6. Copyediting and Production
Accepted manuscripts move to copyediting and production. Author metadata, final files, declarations, APC or waiver status, DOI metadata, issue assignment, and article galleys are checked before publication.
7. Publication and Indexing Readiness
After publication, the article appears on the journal website with stable article metadata, article files, issue details, and DOI information where applicable. The journal maintains metadata quality to support indexing and discovery.
